We’re just back from Affiliate Convention, which took place last Thursday and Friday in Los Angeles. This was the second show for this new series, and we’ve taken part in both.
Here’s the take-away – if you’re an affiliate who wants to learn the latest tactics and technologies to drive your success, or if you’re a merchant, agency of third-party company seeking to find great new affiliates or partners who have the passion for affiliate marketing – Affiliate Convention is for YOU.
The first show in Denver was a great start, and our experience in Los Angeles surpassed even that. We were at the show as an exhibitor with our newly designed trade show booth, and we were also media sponsors for the show.
Our President / CEO Linda Woods participated in two panel discussions – one for new affiliates called Affiliate Marketing 101 and the other the final “debate” panel with industry leaders. Linda provided the show with perhaps one of its funniest moments during that final panel. As show host Daron Babin was recalling his success selling Viagra a few years ago, Linda retorted: “So Viagra worked for you, Daron?”
We always enjoy catching up with colleagues such as Brook Schaaf, Lisa Riolo and Rebecca Madigan and this conference was no exception. We were also excited to meet so many affiliates – many of whom are already promoting the affiliate programs we manage.
Cathy Mueller, dropped in to share her success stories – and to meet our team. This convention was also a great way to introduce everyone to our new Director of Client Services, Stephanie Lewis.
Stephanie needs no introduction, of course. She’s been an affiliate marketer and program manager for years and has lots of experience and contacts in the industry.
We want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello and hear more about the affiliate programs managed by PartnerCentric. We look forward to working with you!
