VSP Direct wants to thank you for your continued efforts amongst the changes in our program. To do so, we’re offering two bonus opportunities.
Any publisher who generates a qualified lead during the contest period, will be entered into a drawing for an IPad Mini. Plus for every 10 qualified leads generated per month, per publisher, during the contest period, their name will be entered into the drawing a second time. So the more qualified leads you generate per month, the more opportunities you have to win the iPad Mini.
And to sweeten the pot even more, any publisher who generates 40 qualified leads a month during the contest period will receive a pair of designer sunglasses.
This contest will run from April 1st to June 30th. So, get your links and your marketing plan ready to drive those leads and help your consumers look into VSPDirect!

The statistics for retailers get encouraging now that Halloween’s less than a month away – and they stay that way through the remainder of 2013.
Yes, the government is shut down – and that certainly will have some effect on holiday sales – but the view remains rosey. Let’s dive into the statistics for comfort, shall we?
Halloween is hot as ever. Halloween sales for costumes, candy and decorations have increased more than 35% during the past five years. In addition to the $1.9 billion that is spent on adult costumes, another $520 is spent on animal costumes and $1.3 billion on kids costumes.
Don’t expect a slowing of the witch’s brew this year because, based on how adults say they are planning to spend Halloween, it should be another great year:
38% will take their children out for trick or treating
50% will decorate their homes
53% will carve a fun pumpkin
79% will participate in handing out candy
61% will dress up in costume
42% intend to throw a party
This leads us into the holiday shopping season, which also looks promising. E-commerce spending in the U.S. is expected to increase 15.1% over 2012 in November and December, according to eMarketer. Spending during those two months will total $61.8 billion, up from $53.7 billion in 2012.
