The Performance Marketing Association is always doing things to keep members and industry types engaged. In their most recent effort, they asked members to explain “Why Performance Marketing is a valuable marketing channel to you or your business.”
The entry by Steve Winterhalter of Parallel Performance won him a free pass to Affiliate Summit East 2012 Aug. 12-14 in New York City. We love Steve’s answer:
“Performance marketing is awesome and efficient because it reduces waste and focuses all efforts on precisely what is needed and what can be delivered. It’s simple and sublime, yet able to mobilize great forces. It’s like E=MC squared: the cosmic constant around which all marketing can coalesce.”
We couldn’t agree more (except we probably wouldn’t have used the word coalesce).
